How to Add Text in VN Video Editor?

Adding text in the VN Video Editor is straightforward. Follow these steps.

1. Open Your Project

  • To get started with adding text, first, open the VN Video Editor on your device. If you already have a project created, simply tap on it to open it. If you’re starting fresh, select “New Project” and import the video clips you want to edit from your gallery. This will allow you to start working with your footage on the timeline.

2. Navigate to the Text Tool

  • Once your project is open and your video is visible on the timeline, look for the “+” button at the bottom or side of the screen, depending on your layout. Tap this icon to add a new element to your project. Then, look for the “Text” or “Overlay” option in the toolbar. These options might appear as separate buttons or under a menu depending on your version of the VN Video Editor. Selecting “Text” will bring up a text box that you can position and modify in your video.

3. Add a Text Layer

  • After selecting the Text option, a text box will appear either in the preview window or directly on the timeline. You can tap on this box to enter your desired text. Whether you’re adding a title, subtitle, or any other text-based element, simply type the text you want to display. Once the text is typed, it will appear on the screen as an overlay that can be modified further. You can resize, reposition, and adjust this box as per your needs.

4. Customize Your Text

  • To personalize the text, you have several customization options available. First, tap on the text box to open the editing menu. Here you can change:
    • Font: VN Video Editor offers a variety of fonts. You can select the one that best fits your video’s style or theme. Browse through the font options and choose the one you like.
    • Size: Adjust the size of your text using a slider or by manually inputting the size. Increasing the text size will make it more visible on the screen, while decreasing it allows you to keep it subtle or fit more text into the space.
    • Color: Tap on the color option to change the text color. VN Video Editor lets you choose from a wide color palette or even apply gradients. Pick a color that complements your video’s aesthetic or ensures that the text stands out against the background.
    • Position: The text box can be dragged to any position on the screen. You can place it anywhere you want—at the top, bottom, or center—or follow your preferred layout. Ensure that the text does not overlap with important video content and remains legible.

5. Add Effects (Optional)

  • VN Video Editor allows you to add different animations and effects to your text, making it more dynamic and engaging. After positioning your text, you can apply effects like:
    • Fade-ins/Fade-outs: Make the text smoothly appear and disappear.
    • Zoom-in/Zoom-out: Create a zoom effect to add a sense of movement.
    • Scrolls: Have the text scroll across the screen, similar to a news ticker.
    • Bounce: Add a playful effect where the text bounces or jiggles.
  • To apply these effects, tap on the Animation or Effect options, and select the one you want. Play around with the settings to match the style and mood of your video.

6. Adjust Duration

  • Once your text is placed, you can adjust how long it appears in the video. The text layer will be shown as a bar on the timeline. Drag the edges of this bar to increase or decrease the duration for which the text stays visible. You can also make the text appear and disappear at specific points during the video, depending on the flow of your content.

7. Preview and Save

  • After adding and customizing your text, it’s important to preview how it looks in the context of the video. Tap on the play button to see how the text appears and animates within your footage. If you’re happy with how it looks, you can proceed to save or export your video. Tap on the Export button when you’re ready, and choose the export settings like resolution and format. VN Video Editor will render your video, incorporating all the changes, including the text, and save it to your gallery.

By following these steps, you can effectively add text to your videos in VN Video Editor, making your content more informative, creative, and engaging. If you need any further tips or help, feel free to ask!
