How to Blur Video in VN Video Editor?

To blur a video in VN Video Editor, follow these steps.

Step 1: Open VN Video Editor and Start a New Project

First, launch the VN Video Editor app on your device. Once the app is open, tap on the “+” (plus) button to create a new project. This will take you to the project setup screen, where you can start importing your video clips. If you’re working on an existing project, open it from the project list.

Step 2: Import Your Video

On the new project screen, select the video you want to edit from your gallery or file storage. Tap on it to add it to the timeline. You’ll see the video appear in the editing timeline, where all edits will be applied.

Step 3: Select the Video Clip in the Timeline

Tap on the video clip in the timeline to highlight it. This step is essential as it ensures that any changes or effects you apply will only affect the selected clip. When selected, a menu of tools and options will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: Access the Effects Option

From the toolbar at the bottom, look for and tap on “Effects”. This option opens a library of effects that you can apply to your video. Effects include a variety of visual adjustments, including blur, motion, and aesthetic filters.

Step 5: Choose a Blur Effect

In the Effects library, scroll through the options until you find “Blur.” There may be multiple types of blur effects, such as Gaussian blur, mosaic blur, or radial blur. Choose the one that best fits your editing needs. Selecting it will immediately apply the blur to the entire video or visible frame.

Step 6: Customize the Blur Effect

After applying the blur, you’ll see customization options like adjusting the strength (intensity) of the blur. If you only want to blur a specific part of the video, look for a masking tool or keyframe feature within the blur effect settings. Masks allow you to apply the blur to specific areas (like faces or objects), and keyframes enable you to animate the blur effect to follow movement within the frame.

Step 7: Finalize and Apply the Blur

Once you’ve adjusted the blur settings to your liking, tap “Check” or “Apply” to confirm the changes. Preview the video to ensure the blur effect is applied correctly. You can always go back and adjust the settings if necessary.
