Past Perfect Tense(Passive Voice)

Past Perfect Tense(Passive Voice) is used to represent the passive completed actions of the past time. Active Voice Sentences of Past Perfect Tense can be converted to Passive Voice Sentences of Past Perfect Tense, just by following the following General Rules.

Rules to Convert Past Perfect Tense(Active Voice) Sentences to Passive Voice Sentences

Following are some rules that can be followed to form Passive Voice Sentences.

  • First of all, convert the Object(me, us, you, them, him, her, it) of the Active Voice Sentences of Past Perfect Tense to the Subject(I, we, you, they, he, she, it) of Passive Voice Sentences.
  • Then, use the helping verb “had been”, to indicate that action was completed during past time.
  • After that, use the 3rd Verb to indicate that actions were passive, i.e.; been done on the object by the subject.
